Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 4 July 2026
Aura has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page sets out the standards we uphold to keep children safe on our service, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable law. We take these obligations seriously and act on every credible report.
Our commitment
- We prohibit child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor.
- We do not tolerate grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or the solicitation or sharing of sexual content involving anyone under 18.
- We remove violating content, terminate offending accounts, preserve relevant evidence, and report as required by law.
Who can use Aura
Aura is intended for people aged 13 and older. Accounts we identify as belonging to someone under 13 are removed. Sexual content involving minors is never permitted, regardless of a user's own age.
What is prohibited
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — images, video, drawings, AI-generated or computer-generated depictions, and text.
- Sexualizing a minor, or sexual comments, requests, or role-play directed at or involving a minor.
- Grooming, luring, or attempting to establish contact with a minor for a sexual purpose.
- Sextortion, or threatening to share a minor's intimate imagery.
- Trafficking, advertising, or facilitating access to a minor for sexual purposes.
- Links, usernames, or off-platform pointers intended to share or obtain any of the above.
How we prevent and respond to abuse
- Clear rules. These standards and our terms prohibit CSAE, and users agree to them when they join.
- Reporting. Anyone can report content, a comment, a message, or an account (see below). Reports are reviewed promptly.
- Enforcement. On a confirmed violation we remove the content, disable the account, and block re-registration where possible.
- Reporting to authorities. We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant authorities, and preserve information as the law requires.
How to report a concern
If you see content or behaviour that may endanger a child, please tell us immediately:
- Report it in-app from any post or comment (the ⋯ → Report menu), or from the Support & Safety page.
- Or email our dedicated child-safety inbox: safety@myaura.energy.
- Include a link to the post, comment, message, or profile and any details that help us locate it.
We prioritise these reports. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
